I'll go first. These are about 2 years old (and on a very cold day with full trunk, gas tank and 125lb passanger), car is a quicker now...

^^ Interesting, those launches were quite horrible. That thing would be way faster with a proper launch.

Yeah it was like 35 degrees so the tires would just spin. First vid was OK, 2nd- I just spun through all of first and 2nd

No more filming such videos on public roads for me, been there done that.

Track only, where my best is 14.5 @ 94mph on all seasons, so you can figure my 0-60 which means nothing anyway. About same as a stock 3.5, in some cases faster cuz its easier to launch the 3.0 (less torque off the line).

That said, all 5th-7th gen maximas are plagued with the same problem, launching. If you can launch you can be quick, and once the maxi gets going it starts to strike hard.

Thanks bro, very true.

I was more trying to point out the maxima specifically due to its FWD and power. AWD launches have gotten damn good, ie. GTR

14.5 would be an auto 5.5. 6spd would be quicker (stock record is 14 flat) with a 60 run of sub 6 seconds.

You mean 6MT might be quicker? If you can drive and know how to launch, and your car is in good shape....
yes some have gotten in the low 14's with a 14 flat record but 14.5 is actually the average for 6MT's.
I think about 14.7 or so is average for auto 3.5's with best being maybe bout 14.5

I guarantee you couldnt run 14.5 with an auto 5.5 gen in your first 3 attempts, and maybe not at all depending on shape of the car.

Im more than happy being on par with a stock 3.5, whether auto or 6MT... being that I have a 3.0 auto and its hard as **** to get em to run with 3.5's

Im not claiming my maxi to be fast, is really what Im saying.

All you see is the front of the car.

I haven't used mine recently either due to the alternator issue

It uses the GPS and kind of laggy which is why it wouldn't be a good 0-60 video

I don't have a video and can't make one. My Maxima is destroying my wallet and seems to be getting 18MPG with non-aggressive, friendly driving. Someone help me help my wallet

^^ 18mpg is quite normal, if thats ALL city driving. I get ~17mpg in the city, with mostly normal driving and like 30% spirited moments lol

And this thread is no fun, MO' videos please!!

18-17 mpg is very good.

During my first winter with this car (2013) I was only getting 15 mpg

I have NDSII and it looks like it will record 0-60 times and others. I assume it would be pretty accurate but I honestly dont know. Maybe if we get a decent day of weather here ill give it a shot. Gonna have to really warm up these tires first :-D

It's city/highway, roughly equal amounts. The best I've ever gotten was 23.5mpg and then I swapped my rims to the SE ones and it dropped to 18mpg.

I doubt it's all because of the rims as I've gotten 18-19 with the GLE ones before. The 23.5 was with regular gas vs the premium I use now, if I remember correctly?
