Airbag Sensor
I just bought a 2001 Maxima from a dealership and the airbag sensor light flashes a code '51'. What does this mean, and does anyone know how much it will cost to have it repaired?

Consequence:
In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the passenger seat occupant or other occupants.

Take it to a dealership or face pain

Demand them to fix it and give you some kind of complementarity service for life,or just sue them they put your passengers life in danger . Thats just neglect .dealers
