Only p1320 code help!!

So I recently replaced my bank1 sensor1 O2 sensor and all has been good. Driving home today SES light on and checked when I got home with my OBD and only the P1320 code. My 01 has 205,000 miles and original coil packs. I always have put 93 Shell gas in my car, ALWAYS premium. So recently I was in a hurry and put in a tank full of 87 octane. Still have a half tank of this crap to burn. Could this cheap gas really cause the code or am I on the beginning of bad coils?

Car does have a lot of miles for original coils...

The most common cause that will trigger the P1320 code is the ignition coils, one or more ignition coils may have failed. Even tough the coils may be working OK, the resistance for one or more of the coils is greater or smaller that what the Engine Control Module (ECM) is expecting. Measuring the resistance with the coil out of the vehicle may not show any failures, usually the coil fails under heavy conditions (hard acceleration) or certain temperatures.

The P1320 code means that there is problem with the "Ignition Coil" or the wire to the ignition coil. For some models without individual ignition coils the Ignition Coil is inside the distributor and the distributor need to be replaced to fix the problem.

Hitachi or OEM ignition coils only only only

205,000 miles on the original coils? Consider yourself lucky; mine failed at 49,000 miles. You can get Hitachi OEM coils from Rockauto.com for $36 (right) and $44 (left).

Can you explain right/left coils? If I order all six I'm guessing 3 right and 3 left? how do I know where which spark plug they go to? I have done all the work on the car myself so I am mechanically inclined. Thanks.

"Left" has the same meaning as "Front" (by the radiator). "Right" is the same as "Rear" (by the firewall).
