Custom intake questions

So recently I bought a cone filter, and a MAF mount for my 2000 maxima. So here are some questions I have.

When I unplug all 3 of the vacuum hoses (Variable intake, Power steering, and the valve cover) what do I need to do with all of these hoses? Should I keep them open or buy small filter for them? I'm just not sure what I should do, just need some insight. And what does unplugging the vacuum to the map sensor do?
Thanks

The car wont run with all of them DC'd. You need to find a way to connect them in between the MAF and TB. If all you have is a MAF adapter and cone filter, then you 'll be fine since that doesn't disrupt any of the hoses you mentioned. But if you're getting rid of the Helmholtz and basically strapping the MAF to the TB and then the filter to the MAF, you're going to have problems.

Alright, so I will try to make a mid pipe with the vacuum holes. What do all the vacuumes do?

Thank you for the reply by the way
