Seepage in A/C line

Power steering not A/C
I know they sell kits to repair the hard lines but not sure about the rubber. Plus this is too close to the aluminum portion. It literally seeps out of a very tiny slit as shown by the red circle. Anybody has any suggestions?

Typical HP power steering hose leak. Plenty of threads on this with instructions.

A/C? You must be drinking. You can clearly see where the A/C lines are LOL.

Look for Gates on ebay and amazon. OEM and aftermarket hoses are stupid expensive retail.

I paid 51 for my Gates. It's dead silent.

Yeah so I did quite bit of reading here. Looks like Edelmann hoses are noisy.
So Gates is not in any way affiliated with Edelmann correct? Just gotta make sure. I was really hopelessly settling for the OEM hose

So I thought 200 was expensive. I called my local dealer and they want 275. What a bunch of ripoffs

not sure, my guess is they didn't take the proper amount of time/effort to bleed it correctly.

also as a side note the pics for the gates and edelmann are identical on rockauto. i know the edelmann looks like the one in their picture, not sure about the gates. it's possible they're the exact same

i bought mine willing to live with a slight noise to save $ vs the oem part. turns out there is no noise, so it worked out for me. if you're not willing to risk it i guess i'd say go for the oem part.

I was gonna cough up $200 since that's the price I got from courtesy nissan online. When I called my local dealer its $275. Definitely not paying 275 for a stupid hose. I'm buying a gates from my local auto for $120 or amazon for $85. Just afraid amazon may send me the wrong one and have more down time with the car.

How many quarts of ATF is needed for this job?

Anecdotal, but I ordered an Acura hose, which is tricky b/c they're all different, from Amazon and it was the right one

There's not too many issues with Amazon if you buy one that is stocked and sold by them. If they screw up, you *****, and have them overnight the new one. Hell, you usually get a discount on top of it LOL

gates is $73+shipping on rockauto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...nid=447&jpid=2 and i'd be pretty confident they'll get it right. after shipping should be about the same price as amazon.

i don't remember exactly how much ATF it used, i don't think it was too much. i followed a pretty good writeup on here somewhere that i think had that information

I mean I usually order everything from Amazon but car parts so this would be interesting to try for the first time.

Otherwise Rockauto seems a good place to order from. Thanks for the input guys.

Ended up buying a Gates belt from my local auto. Paid twice as much as I would've if I ordered it on amazon but I needed for the weekend. Oh well, still less than the dealer's hose.

The bajo bolt is definitely a little SOB pain in my *** but got it to go. The clamp in the middle I didn't bother after 15 min of trying to somehow squeeze it on. I didn't wanna cut the sleeve either so I just zip tied it to the bracket.

Noise? yeah definitely noticeable. From 1-10 the noise is about a 1 or 2 when driving at speeds. Gets louder to about a 3 like pulling into a parking spot. But I can live with it. I did do the dead and live bleed for a while plus I cycled the old fluid out.

Hmmm, can you take a pic of the hose? Maybe it's a different version? Mine is seriously silent and all I did to bleed was turn the wheels a few times.
