2003 3.5 no power under load

I have a 2003 Maxima GLE with the 3.5 engine and 183K miles on it. That has been misfiring and no power under load past 3K RPM. In Park I can rev the engine to redline with some minor misfires. I have replaced the plugs (which were really bad) coilpacks and the MAF sensor. The misfires dropped off but still happens occasionally but still no power past 3K under load, lots of rattling and it shifts hard when I push it. I have done a lot of searching and haven't found anything helpful, would love some ideas or if someone seen this before.

It could be a MAF. Is the check engine light on? Does the check engine light work?

Ok so I got the MAF off eBay for like 50 bucks. Save a few bucks.

Went to NAPA holy crap they want 400 bucks + core for OEM. What are these things made out of? plutonium? And they needed to order it.

Where is a good place to buy one and not feel like you been jumped in a prison yard.

The EBay MAF might be the culprit

There was a thread on buying a 00-01 MAF and using one of the old parts of the MAF to make is compatible to the 02-03 ECU

or if you're not much the DIY'er go to your local junkyard

Looks easy enough to do. I will give that a shot.

After doing plugs and coilpacks this will be a walk in the park.
