Goodbye Maxima

Traded my 2000 Maxima GXE yesterday for a 2016 Mazda CX5 Touring.
It was time.

It was hard to let her go after 15 yrs of uninterrupted service. The car had
never been in an accident and was garage kept. I drove it about 2000 miles per year the last 8 years. It had 120k on the odometer. It was clean, both inside and out.
Some minor quirks, like the radio display would go out sometimes and then pop back on (bad solder joints) and the inside trunk release wouldn't open from the inside (had to use the key). In the grand scheme of things very minor problems.

I had just recently put new tires, cv joints, new front brakes and a power steering hose. By recent I mean in the last 12 months.

Somebody will get a decent loaded car that they will be able to drive for another 100k without any major problems.

2000 engine was bulletproof.

I have owned 4 Nissans and this will be my third Mazda. Hopefully the Madza will hold up as well as the Max.

Ahah have the same trunk problem. Have fun not being able to do anything to a new car. 2012 Durango and 2007 Rav 4 hard enough to work on as it is.
