Which cv axle fits my car?
I'm about to pull the trigger on CV axles for my 2001 maxima. I'm confused about specification/compatibility issues. Confusion is mostly due to different (Middle East) model when compared to US targeted models.
Here's my car's details:
2001 Nissan maxima (Middle East version)
Body: A33
Engine: VQ30DE
Automatic transmission
No ABS
- Which CV axles to order? Those for 2001 Infiniti I30 will fit?
- Limited slip?
Thanks

The Maxima and the Infiniti use the same axles. But you must determine if the car has a limited slip differential. You do this by looking at the transmission model number.
Model RE4F04B - does not have limited slip.
Model RE4F04W - has limited slip.
This model number is on a tag attached to the firewall on the right side of the car, the side with the power steering oil reservoir.
