2000 fuel gauge

My fuel gauge works good, but when I turn the car off it stays in place? Is it supposed to do this, my 02 does not. Thanks

Mine is that way. It's normal, at least I'd think so since I've had my car for 9yrs and it's always operated that way.

You have a fuel leak somewhere.

Injectors, lines, fuel pump.
