Are my es t/a bushings missing the metal clam shell?

Are my es t/a bushings missing the metal clam shell?
I had my trailing arm bushings installed and they have some play. I am hearing banging and all of my other parts are new. I was told they must be pressed into the original clamshell but I don't see them on my car period where they installed incorrectly and is anybody have a picture of what they should look like please?
