Yep, except Frankens, but all the intakes in the past have been quieter than the CAI.... CAI resonates in the fender which makes it alot louder.

I have had a pop and now have a CAI, and can tell you the CAI blows the pop away. The pop has a moan but the CAI has a dragon like wahhhhhhhhhh.

Too bad I can't hear it anymore over my exhaust

My opinion is that its louder because it removes the middle section. Am I correct?

SO STEVE ....DOES YOUR INTAKE "MOAN" IN NORMAL DRIVING?? OR U STILL HAVE TO HIT THE GAS HARD?? BECAUSE IN YOUR CLIP, OF COURSE I COULD TELL YOU WERE SLAPPING THE GAS, THAT MADE THE INTAKE LOUD LIKE THE POPCHARGERS, BUT, DOES YOUR INTAKE MAKE "A LITTLE BIT" OF SOUND IN NORMAL DRIVING?? LIKE RPM UNDER 3??

yes i found out they do fit. email me at steve@frankencar.com and FIONA it doesn't moan under 3k, you can hear a slight hint of the intake if you have the windows down but not much.

i got a 2k SE, and ive had a universal AEM filter on it at first, and it was comparable to my friend who had teh stillen setup. i then got a CAI, and that was MUCH louder than either of them, right now im running the CAI without the extension, and i can say that its much louder than the CAI at about 5000rpm but thats in teh car, from outside i think the CAI is louder, especially below 5k rpms i thnk the CAI is loudest. i havent heard the franken intake so i cant comment on that but from what ive heard......the PRCAI was loudest from outside but was louder above 5000rpm without the extension. i think the PRCAI without the extension is pretty close to the frankencar intake. Without the extension its louder inside the cabin definitely, probably bc the filter is in the engine bay. for lower RPM growl i think the cold air extension wins hands down.

That thing is loud most def.I listened or rather heard it on a 2k2 6spd and a 3.5Altima.The jury is still out on the CAI.

That is the most confusing run-on sentence post that I've read in months. It looks like you say the same thing three times!
Summary
below 5000rpm --------------- full PRCAI
outside car above 5000rpm --- full PRCAI
inside car above 5000rpm ---- PRCAI w/out extension (just upper tube)

PR CAI is the loudest I've heard, even over the CAI without the extension piece.

If your planning on getting a full exhaust be prepared to lose the intake sound.

yup i wouldn't even argue, i would have the car off, keys in my hands hanging out the door.
