My 2002 Maxima SE has the fuel gauge that goes right to full from empty when I turn the key. I have access to a 2000 Maxima SE that has a working cluster. Just wanted to check with the experts here before pulling out if this would be compatible? I guess, also should ask if the fuel sending unit from the 2000 would also be compatible ?

I would do some research to diagnose the actual problem before throwing parts at it.
I haven't dealt with it my self but there are threads on the subject here on this site.

 

I know its years later but whatever happened to the cluster swap? Im experiencing the same. Let me know, thanks
