I have a 2000 Maxima 5 Speed that will crank but will not turn over. Ive had two mechanics tell me two different issues and neither was right. One told me it was the flywheel and the other told me it was the ECM module. Please help because all i want is my car fixed and no one seems to be helping.

 

We need to know any codes that it's throwing.

Have you tried pressing the pedal some when cranking (to rule out the IACV)?
Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to ON?
Check to see if the security light is on when cranking.

I bet it's probably one of the crank sensors. One is under the crank pulley and the other is on the front of the transmission.

 

Run new grounds from each side of the transmission bell housing to the battery. Could be a ground issue.

or maybe you're immobilized. What is the security light doing as you crank it?

Have you checked the obvious like fuel pump fuse etc?
