Interior, License Plate and Trunk LEDS

Hi,

I am interested in changing my interior and some (license plate + trunk) exterior lights to LED.

I found a package here: http://www.xtralights.com/02-03nissa...upgradepackage

Any thoughts about this package? iIs this the best available ?

Any recommendations for LED packages?

Thanks - MN

I bought cheap packs off eBay for the car. Been in there for about 7 months now and they work great. Think for every buld in and out the car cost me $35 to $40. The packs came with a few extra bulbs so 1/2 of my daughters car is done too

My instrument cluster lights are getting weak. Suspect one of the bulbs is gone.
Has anybody tried replacing them with LEDs? If so, what does it take? (a "How To" would be nice)

I can't seem to get the older bulbs out of the cluster.. But I didn't try too hard at the time

They have to break or you have to buy new sockets from the dealer

I put cool white LEDs in my instrument cluster. There were instructions on the board here somewhere.
I bought a package of interior and license plate LEDs from someone on the board as well.

If you wiggle them back and forth in every direction, it loosens the grip of the leads on the bulb. If they become to loose to hold the new bulb/led then just use a small flat head to carefully bend them back.

I suggest superbrightleds for gauge cluster lighting. The blue was plenty bright in my 01, making the needles readable and they are better quality than eBay ones. Super annoying when your speedometer bulb is out/flickering.
