Post 5th generation rusty rad supports?

I'd have to ask the community if they've heard of any reports of post 5th generation rusty radiator supports?

With the one on my Max being so badly corroded you'd have to wonder.

Here is the lower rad support on my 2000 SE with 128k miles on it. Purchased in Ohio and was there til 2004. In eastern Iowa from 2004-2008, Nebraska from 2008-2013, and currently back in Iowa.

Here is what you may find:

Your putting in too much the pressure have to be just right and the compressor clutch has to be going while you fill or it wont ch arge, the outside temp plays a role in the pressure too. If yiu overcharge compressor wont kick on

Sounds as though you need to rent a manifold gauge at the auto parts store and check the system for abnormal pressure. Check for evaporator freeze up to determine whether or not your compressor is bad.

I'm confused... Nissan suggests charging with the engine off.
