Smog problems in Cali with Y-Pipe?

Has ANYONE in California EVER had a problem passing smog with the Y-pipe and a hi-flow intake on a 2k? I plan on buying the Cattman, and would like to know ahead of time of ANY potential problems, whether it be passing smog or other wise. Any input is appreciated. Thank you all! One more Q- what about the pro's? does it kick as* or what? How's the sound? PEACE_

What I want to know is what kind of problems the dealers have given owners of a y-pipe when they go in for warranty work.

It should free up 10-15 more horsepower.

If your car is warmed up you should not have any problems passing the smog test. When you get the y-pipe installed make sure you reset you ECU. or else it will run like crap.

my friend(he's got a 4th gen w/ supercharger, Stillen y-pipe)...didn't pass smog with the y-pipe..i mean, he failed this test soo bad! came back home, replaced the y-pipe with the stock pipe, ran the test, and passed it with no problem..amazing, isn't it?

NO

driver side , next to gas pedal , panel , remove panel , ecu , has a screw slot , insert flathead , turn car on do not start , turn screw driver slowly and softly to the right , hit stop , turn back left , hit stop , turn back right , hit stop , turn back left , remove screwdriver , start car , light should be off , put car back together

His profile says he's got a 5th gen. The screwdriver trick doesn't work because the ECU's are different.

Hondkillr, you need to leave the battery disconnected overnight to be sure it gets reset.
