Did you use Hitachi coils and NGK plugs?

I did use NGK plugs, however the coil packs were an autozone pick up, I was told they were OEM

those coils are probably some rebuilt oem ones that failed at some point. You may be able to see where Hitachi or Mitsubishi was scratched off. The specs are a bit different with the aftermarket coils and that usually sets off the ses light even though you may no longer have acceleration issues. Some guys have lived with while others just went the dealer route.

Did you test the coils before replacing them all or no?

Also try courtesy nissan site or nissanpartsasap.com, as they have discounted prices for parts including coil packs.

Wow sounds just like me. I picked up an 03 SE with 170k last year with p0300. Sunk countless $$$'s into fixing it but the code wouldn't go away. Did a compression test and turns out 3 cylinders had low compression.

Before u throw any more money at buying new parts check compression in each cylinder. Just trying to save you some cash.

p0300 could be a number of things. Coils/maf/ or exhaust. I had that code and it ended up being the exhaust. Fixed the issue and code is gone. Yours may be different

P0300 is a common misfire code but it doesn't single out a single cylinder as of yet. I drove the **** out of my car until I got an actual cylinder misfire.

Not the correct way to do things, but it worked.
