After market car alarm removal, what would you do?
My parents have a 2005 maxima and in 2005 they had a after market car alarm installed with remote start.
Lately it has been really acting up and I want to get it removed for them since they don't need an after market and the factory alarm will do just fine.
Would you trust Best buy to remove it? Should I go to a higher class store then best buy to remove it?
What are the risks to get it removed? I am worried that something will screw up and then i will be in a panic.

I'm not an expert on car alarms but I's contact the manufacturer and see what they say.
You might be able to find the installation instructions online and see what systems it taps into.

Removal of an alarm is easy peasy. I've done several now. Most wires are tapped and only 1 or 2 are intercepted. I say tackle it yourself. If you're not comfortable, let Best Buy do it. They can handle this easily. Don't take possession of the car if it doesn't start/lock/unlock right and all accessories work normally.
