03 maxi, how to remove glass when the window is all the way down?
Well the driver window went down today and wont go back up.
I searched alot of threads on it and got the door panel off fine and everything disconnected. However all of the fixes I see assume you can reach the two bolts that connect the window to the regulator. My window is all the way down and far from the access holes that I cant get a wrench on it.
I dont have any money to fix it and it is too cold to drive with the baby in it.
One post here said you can raise it manually with a 3/8 ratchet but I cant figure it out. What am I ratcheting to make it manually go up? i thought I had to take the motor out but with the window bolted in there is no room to move the motor, after I unbolted the motor and it seems to still be connected to the regulator after taking off the 3 bolts, it wont move more than a half inch.
This lead me to try to take the whole window off to be able to access it but I cant even reach those bolts.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I'm trying hard but I seem to be missing something.
Even the youtube videos show people moving the window to the middle giant hole to access it easy but my window is down all the way and dead motor it seems.
