Floor Jack Point.
Floor Jack Point.
Hello folks,
I know this has been asked several times, so pardon me -- most of the old posts have lost their picture links.
I looked at the factory manual and have seen the lift points indicated there (see figure 1).
I have spent sometime this evening trying to locate it on my vehicle. I think I have spotted it at the front end - can you please confirm if this is the right lift point (see Figure 2).
If not, can I lift each side using this point (See Figure 3), place the jack stands and then move to the other side?
thanks - MN

All the times I've crawled under mine so far, I don't remember seeing a bump like that. Where is it? I always raise the front with a floor jack at one of the LCR attachment points, then add a safety stand at the sill.
Right underneath the radiator. Follow the crossmember bar that runs directly under the engine, you can't miss it.
I've lurked the forums a lot and there has been multiple surprises when the lower radiator support gave out because they used the jackpoint on the manual. I believe if you do some searching there are some pictures on another user's alternate jacking points that are safe to use.

Alternatively go for the pinch welds.
