Reverse Drum Install - How Difficult

I've been trying to track down the cause of my, No Reverse problem.
Without any success. I have successfully replaced my valve body, with
a new solenoid pack. Shifts perfect now, in all gears, (Thanks to DennisMik), EXCEPT reverse. Will not go into reverse. Acts like it wants to, it tries,
even moves in reverse a little, before, the RPM's rev up through the roof.

So. I started reading around, discovered that, The reverse drum could be
the culprit. I found several reverse drums, locally, for around $45.00.
What do I have to lose.

I was wondering, has anyone done an install of a reverse drum, on a 2000 Maxi with a RE4F04B transmission.

Is it really difficult.
I watched (On You Tube) a reverse drum being installed on a 2004 Maxi. I think the tranny might be the same tranny. It looked simple. All the guy did, was the remove the transmission cover, via the drivers side of the car, exposing the reverse drum.
He pulled it off, then, installed the new one.

It took about 30min+.

Can this be done on, my, 2000 Maxi.

Thanks.
