Cheap and easy Projector Fog lights with Halos!!

So completed a project this last weekend! I finally made a set of foglights that are projectors with halos, for a price cheaper than most OEM foglights cost you! These are specifically for the 5.5 gens, though I don't see why it wouldn't work for virtually any car ever!!

but before we get to the easy stuff, there are a few things that you will need:

Things:

your old foglights, or at least the plugs off of them!

1 pair of generic projector halo lights from eBay or Amazon, (I went with the 3in whites, because I felt like the 3.5in ones would be too big to fit!)

1 set of foglight covers (I got mine on eBay)

some silicone in a tube

industrial adhesive (optional, but better safe than sorry!)

drill with a hole saw that is the diameter of the back of the light housings (for the 3in lights, It was a 2 1/4 inch bit)
Procedure:
*****Before you start***** You need to figure out how to wire the halos however you want. I, personally, ran a wire from them to the radio-on wire that comes from the ignition to the radio because it was the easiest one to get to. This also makes sure that the halos come on as soon as I turn the car on! However, if you want to do it easier than that, just wire them to the fog lights!

This is the easy stuff! It should take you less than an hour to do!
1: your first step should be to cut your hole into the foglight covers with the hole saw!

2: second, put the fog light into the hole.

3: then, once the foglight is in the hole, silicone that f-er up!

4: once you have done that and let it set for the proper time, I then took and put some industrial adhesive on the back to make really sure it wasn't going to fall out!

These next steps are optional, but highly recommended! (If you chose not to follow them, just wire the lights directly to the wires)

5: now, take the old foglights and cut off the plugs and save plenty of wire!

6: now, just wire the new lights to the plugs from the old fogs,

so now, it is time to go to your car

7: now it's time to wire your halos however you want to wire them.

8: after you do this, plug your new foglights in and then snap the covers into their spots!

Now now you have new projector foglights with halos!

below is the picture of mine on my car!

I will take some close ups later tonight and post them.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures while I was doing them, as I was hurrying to get them together for a show last weekend!
