HOW TO: Dropping 6 Speed 5.5gen Trans - Video

Linked is a YouTube video I made showing the general steps of dropping the 5.5 gen manual trans (6spd). Actually got it removed from the car pretty quickly! Probably 3 hours, while also trying to record it all.

I tried to include the sizes of all the bolts but definitely missed a few. Still working on my video shooting and editing skills.

Nice, I've done it on the ground several times my self.

You should really look into one of these. Lifting it off like that is obviously dangerous but you also risk hanging it on the input shaft if anything goes wrong or it rolls off the jack. That's a good way to damage it. Especially when trying to stab it back in. A trans jack allows it to come down and roll out without you ever having to be under it and the top tilts in two directions.
