AC filter for 2002

Hello Friends

I wanted to replace the AC filter, opened the cabin cleaned also inside, opened and cleaned the blower too.
I was surprised to find that the air filter is coming in 1 unit as i saw on net that it's coming in 2 parts.

The problem is that in Israel they don't sell replacements for Maxima and original cost around 80$ but still they don't have it right now in stock...

So i have cleaned the filter with compressor and washed it and let it dry for 2 days and install it back.

Now i would like to order on line.

My Questions are :

what is better, 1 or 2 parts filter ?
any recommendation for replacements ?

Thanks in advance
Oren

It doesn't really matter if the filter is one piece or 2. Personally, I think the 2 pieces are easier to work with.

All the brands of filters are about the same. It doesn't matter who makes it. There is an on-line auto parts store, rockauto.com, that ships to Israel. I looked up a cabin air filter made by Wix, a 2 piece filter. The 2 pieces cost $19.95 USD and shipping to Tel Aviv is another $26.95 USD for a total of $46.94 USD.

rockauto.com has other brands of filters that cost from $7.00 to 27.00 USD. rockauto also takes other money besides the USD but they do not take the Shekel. If you go to the website, you select the currency in the top left corner.
