P0303 is a mis-fire on cylinder 3. The majority of the times it is a bad ignition coil.

P1800 is the VIAS Control Solenoid Valve. This isn't harmful to the car, but it causes a tiny bit of power loss at full throttle. The solenoid is easy to get to, it is is bolted onto the intake manifold towards the passenger side. It is Nissan part # 14955-8J10A. Very expensive, list price $212. You can get it on-line for around $150 plus shipping. I don't know if you can get this at a local auto parts store, it might be a dealer only part.

Did you clear the code after replacing the coils?

The VIAS solenoid can be found in your local U-pull it yard. Altimas, and I think even Quest vans, from the same time have the same piece.

I may even have one floating around here. If you want it send me a PM. We'll work something out.

About the VIAS. I did a little research on the VIAS thing and it turns out the rod inside is poorly designed and just stops doing it job and falls off. I used a tiny bit of jb weld to fix it. Just a thought as ALL VIAS will eventually do this from what I read.

This is mostly a problem with the 3.0 liter cars.
The VIAS, and the entire intake, on the 3.5 liter cars is different.
