I have swapped my fog lights on my '02 before but for some reason, I cannot remove either of them now. I am just focusing on the passengar one until I can get it off freely. I haven't had a chance to lift the car high enough to get safely under there but it almost feels like the top post is tightly stuck in that hole (I can wiggle the light slightly with the bottom post).

I only get to access the car on the weekends so I currently put one nut back on the top post, loosely, with some locktight, in hopes it may wiggle free on the next chance I go to drive the car.
