Can't find a led bulb that fits my 2002 GLE dome lights. I found one to fit he rear one but not the two front ones.

The 2 front lights are not dome lights, they are map lights for reading maps, books, whatever.

The map lights use a lamp with a BA9 base. BUT... the socket is wired in reverse from standard, so that means that unless you can find a led lamp that is made for reverse polarity, a led lamp will not work.

But it is possible (and has been done) to remove the map light fixture and re-wire the polarity so you can use a led lamp.
