Maxima 2003 GLE struts?

Dear Maxima owners,
My wife 2003 GLE needs struts (180k miles and still on factory ones, BONE STOCK Maxima). I have Tokiko Blue on my 2002 SE and LOVE them (bought them from eBay long ago and can't seem to be able to open my eBay account, crappy username and password forget system), so don't know the part number from my 2010 purchase.

1. Tokiko is good? KYB? any other suggestion?
2. Can you please give me part numbers for them (Tokiko)?
3. As long as I am at it, good idea to order also strut mounts? sway bar? and other parts? and what brands and parts numbers?

Thanks guys

You may look parts up on rockauto. But, I don't suggest Monroe quick struts.

I'm patient and tolerate less than perfection but the fronts I have are noisy and the rears gave out, at least one of them. Also, factory build gave me rears grossly out of orientation that I had to reset with a spring compressor tool just to get them installed. AND I just noticed a week ago that I have to replace the rears that are maybe two years and 30,000 miles old.

Here's another $100+ going out the door....never again, Monroe!!!

I got all KYB, they are very ood, certainly better than monroes or gaberiel since KYB is an OE equivalency of Unisa or something like that I remember seeing the stamping on the orginals, which was the OEM supplier for Maxima back in 2000's

I havnt had specific experience, but the best struts and shocks tend to be
KYB's and Bilsteins. Just a bummer Bilsteins dont offer for the Maximas.
And yes,I would change out the mounts as well. A far as sway bar, check out the bushings to see how they're doing.

I agree with the comment on Monroe struts. I've been running those for the past two years. They are terrible. Extremely stiff.

I have put KYB on my cars and they will give you a stiffer, firmer ride.

i bought KYB from rockauto but, ****ed up and bought BARE struts the money spent getting all the pieces i could have got ****ing Tien coil overs spent damn ear $800 and the H$R springs don't sit right at all what so ever.

i might suggest buying complete struts + what springs you want, assuming tokkico is a spring and not a complete strut in which case have at it.

Check out the parts suppliers in the sticky's.

You should find a few guys carrying what you need.
