oil missing

Hello friends

my 2002 2.0 maxima is eating/drinking/consuming oil .
how much per 1000 km i still don't know but i"ll measure.
i"m sure there is no leaking as the parking spot have no sign for oil.

after looking in the forum i found out that it"s common so i don"t get worried to much...

Ligui moly offered me to use motor clean :

https://products.liqui-moly.com/motor-clean-2.html

is it ok ? or you have something better to recommend ?

regards

Oren

Save the money for Ligui Moly to buy oil. Nothing will stop it short of a rebuild or a new motor. Not a big deal though. I add about quart a month.

Hi, well small update

Just went to buy oil to add and on the way bought STP Oil Treatment (6$), after adding the STP (15 FL OZ 443 mL) add a little bit of oil so lets round it to 500 ml all together and the oil meter is on the right place but the engine my friends roar like a lion ...

will start to check every month.

By the way, the oil sign didn't light on (half litter oil missing) when it should light on ?

Thanks
oren

A Half liter is only about a half quart. The oil light comes on when the level's dangerously low, when engine damage is already being done. The STP goop is a waste of money. Switch over a HM/heavier oil and start tracking your consumption.

Half a qt is the full to low line.

Burning oil trashes your cats quick.
Clogs them to ****.
