Questions about the 5 & 5.5 Gen manual transmission

So I've got a 2001 SE (20th anniversary) 5-speed.
Clutch pressure plate blew apart and put a hole in the bellhousing.
New Tranny is needed.

What trans can mate up with my engine?

I'm pretty sure that all the 20th anniversary's come with LSD?

Which trans will mate up with my engine?

Will each from 2000-2003 fit as long as it's an LSD?

Do the 2002-2003 6-speed mate up the same as the 5-speed?

Thanks for your help.

Your best bet is to find another AE tranny or just replace the bell housing.
For the 6-speed you'd need to replace the entire shifter, cables, axles, sensors and probably more.

This is the best place to find a used tranny is here.

The I30t had LSD as well.

If you find a regular open diff 5 spd all you need is the matching left drive shaft.

The 6 spd needs so many extra parts to make it work.

The Infiniti I Series never came with a manual. I'm not sure if the automatics got an LSD in the states. It might have had the option outside North America.

Edit: You are correct, the I30t came standard with a VLSD while it was an option for i30's. My bad, I thought I read something that it didn't.

There was a manual I30 option in the 95-99 platform
