I tired because I didn't get the solution!!!!!

Hello every one,, I have maxima 2003 v6. 3L. I heat it because it cost me thousands of dollars but no one know how to fix it .

Poor and no acceleration ,,the total horse power is 65 by the check tool.. It stops when climb a hill and all cars pass me on the rood and i can't catch them . The max speed is 170 km and takes over 1minutes to gets that speed,,, There is no strange sounds of the engine but the sound look low than other cars.. No over heating ,,,the air that come out throuth the exhaust is very low .. No smoke from the exhaust...

and there is like shocks when shifting ,,with knowing I had been change the trans but the problem still with the new one

what i did:
change the trans ,,,sparks,,,oils,,,clean all sensors,,,,check the computer no codes ,,,,new battery,,,,new generator,,,,clean injectors ,,,,new fuel pump,,,,new filter of air and fuel and oil ,,remove the cat conventor ,,,put clean liquid in the tank,,,check all the Fuse ,,,,

I didn't know what the problem !!!

I wish from you help me ,,I still 4 years on this problem

are you sure there are no codes? you replaced a lot of parts to have no codes. have you tried a working MAF sensor.

yeah...idle and part throttle may be fine. however, when you accelerate and let in more air and the MAF is not metering that air (cause it's defective) then you will experience most of the issues you are experiencing.

the cars are sensitive to the brand of MAF. You will need to buy one from the dealership in your country.

when my idle circuit died i didn't have any codes nor any burned spots on the ECU, the old man i sent it off to said it did have damaged idle circuit and she's been idling great ever since.

Makes me wonder if you don't have jacked up ECU or TCU, or a wiring problem or broken ground strap or something along those lines.

Dad and I had a motorcycle in the shop once that ran great but, couldn't drive under it's own power unless down hill and even then barley, turns out it actually had no compression.

5th gen has 3 or 4 cats.

this is tough, you have done alot, and there are many variables to narrow down your issue.
have u answered the pending question though

Is the NEW MAF you put on the car OEM ? or aftermarket

has the battery been replaced with a new one? if yes has that new battery been stress tested? my car lost some horse power when the alternator died on the highway. this could be electrical. has compression test been done yet? has the timing been checked? if it's off a tooth valve timing could be dumping compression above a certain rpm.

agreed, Just buy headers since those will completely get rid of your precats. Sorry to hear man, hate problems like this where you end up literally remaking the whole car brand new through trial and error. To be honest, at this point just take it to the dealership and have them diagnose, it might be $$$ but its better than blindly spending $$$ on replacing every part that probably doesn't need replacement.

agreed, that's why i threw it out as a last resort, just get it inspected, don't have to get the actual work done from them

Hey guys..

The original engine 3000cc is replaced by 2000cc VQ20 ....I saw that driven on my engine ...

(The old owner mybe changed the engine)
So my question: Is this the reason of low power in my car?

if you are missing 1000cc then yes...it will have less power.
