Climate control issues

Hey guys,
I recently noticed on my 5th gen max that when I turn the Ac on, air blows on my feet and top vents. No matter which button I press, the air direction will not change except for the defroster. So my face and body gets hot but my feet stays cool. Thinking maybe the climate control may be the issue but also thinking of the blend door actuator.
Any help would be appreciated

Nissan does not use the term "blend door". The Nissan equivalent is the AIR MIX DOOR, which is responsible for the air temperature.

Your problem is with the MODE DOOR motor or the control panel itself. There is a troubleshooting guide in the service manual, section HA, to figure out if the motor or the control panel is at fault.

Thanks for the link and the advice. I checked the mode door motor and noticed that the arm that regulates the vents does not move at all when I change the button modes on the climate control. I'll change that piece this weekend and see how it goes. Thanks for the help!

So I went to the local junkyard and got the mode door actuator. Of course it not guaranteed to work so disconnected the old one( still mounted) on the the new one and the arm moved to the same spot as the old one as if the computer knows when it needs to be. Good news: it works, bad news: still in the same spot(blows top and bottom). Last resort was to disassemble the center console and check connections to the climate control. I disconnected all the connector of the climate control and turned the car on. Reconnected the climate control and now it works. Tried it a few times before I re assemble the center console. Somehow I was able to troubleshoot it so that the modes work.
Wrote this info in case anyone is in the same situation.

I had the car off when I disconnected them. I disconnected the 2 main connectors before I turned the car on. While car on, I connected one and turned the climate control on then off and then connected the second connector and turned it on then off. I have verified it many times that the modes were working before I reassembled the center console.
