sad dieing max

im having a voltage problem i got the car tested they said the alternator was no good i removed it replaced it and charged and checked the battery as well the car is still dieing i cant figure out why they test the voltage with the car on and battery charged and told me battery and alternator are good but its still dieing what do i do?

To check if the alternator is working and able to charge the battery, the alternator has to be spinning, so that means the engine has to be running. With a good alternator, the voltage will be about 14.2 volts. A fully charged battery will read about 12.5 volts when the engine is not running.

It appears that the car dying has nothing to do with the alternator or voltage.

What are the symptoms, conditions? What is the idle rpm? What year is your car? Is the check engine (SES) light on? Does the check engine (SES) light work?
