Huge power loss, in straight line!

Good afternoon,

My 2000 SE 5 speed is lacking power, more noticeable above 3,000 RPM's. I thought it was a VIAS problem, I have got a 'swirl control vale' code in the scanner. I checked the VIAS, power valve is opening and closing properly. Just in case, I had the VIAS bypassed by removing the runner, no luck yet. It happens either with partial or wide open throttle.

The weird thing is, this happens only if I am driving in straight line; if I take off while turning, car feels as powerful as normal and will run strong until red line. If i shift into 2nd the power will drop again - I have tried power shifting and still have the same issue after shifting. Equally, if I am driving in a pronounced turn and downshift to 2nd or 3rd, car will push really hard, as it should.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Yes; it marked the swirl control valve and map sensor. Both were replaced and the issue goes on.
