Hey people....
so my 2002 gle had a bunch of issues. Needed new plugs, o2 sensor, maf sensor, cam sensors, vias solenoid and a new set of coils, but it still pings when beginning excelleration and does it alot more when it's warmed up. I have had an oil change to 5/30 weight, added some Lucas oil treatment and I have been adding Lucas octane booster and fuel treatment also. I'm officially frustrated....
Any ideas???

There's a few places in the workshop manual that cover pinging I saw when chasing a hard start issue.
Check out the EC section then go to P0325 knock sensor error code. Check the knock sensor and make sure your getting approx 2.5V DC.
​​​A small needle has to be inserted/probing into the back of the KS connection then a positive lead from a volt meter clipped on. The black lead is grounded to the metal anywhere.
With the car at idle you should get a voltage.
