Rarest Parts for a Maxima
Rarest Parts for a Maxima
As the title states, what are some of the rarest parts to find when it comes to the Maxima's of 2000-2003? For example, 240s have the tail lights or the window louvers, etc. just wanting to see what I can do to make my soon owned Maxima unique.
first thing I thoguth of along with LTB-Stage II , are you going to install them !!! by the way I have UltraRacing side lower bars which are the equivalent of the SFCs but with bolts ! they also make a lesser.... LTB STage 1
or does OP mean oem factory parts?

A cupholder that isn’t broken for the 5.5 gen
Jokes aside though, the GTR LSD wasn’t a super common option, but I don’t know if I’d consider it rare.
The navigation was probably the rarest factory option available. Combine that with the Meridian and Titanium Package with the unique paint code and a 6spd, and you probably have the rarest 2003 Maxima possible.

Where exactly is that? I occasionally come across 5-speed cars in the salvage yard. I don't mind pulling rare parts off cars if they're needed.
I talked to a guy from crown bolt ,he worked for them for years.never heard of them.
I found through, research some call them "axle shoulder bolts"some call them "shoulder bolts".
I ordered, something close to it off ebay.when i get them hope they work. UPDATE got the ebay ones that where the closest in size but they are standard and don't work

If you can get them in good shape, a few of them .I will give you $6 a piece +shipping

I bought this from a local dealership about two years ago and I was told there were only two left in the entire Nissan U.S. stock. It was for a '97 5spd.
Only thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned are power folding cefiro mirrors. Obviously not "maxima", but still A33. Knockoffs are on ebay of course, but they're not quite the same as the original cefiros.
I just bought one of these from a dude in TN....had a blown motor, picked it up for 750. The nav is ok but really outdated and the ***** fall off pretty easily. Mine is missing several. I'm going to replace it with the GXE double din and a new head unit.
This. They are definitely hard to find. Taken me about 3 years to pick up two of them.
Hey me too! Sean sent them to me about a month ago.
Wins for toughest to find. Saw one on FB a while back and the dude wanted like 1000.

Since I cannot find any OEM replacements, I'm starting to collect some brass Z32 shifter bushings that I may be able to adapt (+ or -) for replacement. The original bushings on one of my 5 MT 4th gens are starting to show their age. So ff I get into a pinch for shifter bushings components, I think I can slightly modify Z32 shifter parts to build suitable replacements. It's not perfect, but better than nothing.

It looks like it to me. There are some B14 sentra clubs that where we found rear suspension bushings for 4th gens. I would check with the B14 people.
