Auto shifting at redline

I just got back from the track and ran my 2K2 auto without manually shifting it. I was surprised to see it shift at 6500rpm, and actually get better time. 2nd run, it went on limp mode again. With my one and only decent run I managed to do 15.09 @ 92mph. I probably have one of the slower 2K2's around, considering I've reading all about other's 2K2 doing mid to high 14's.

You 2k2 owners are lucky to have you auto shift at redline. I have to manually shift my car to get to redline (which has produced better E/T's). Everyone's track is different, different weather conditions, different altitudes. The only way to compare cars is to do it at the same track on the same day. So don't feel bad about your times

You know what is funny, if I leave my car in D and floor it, it will shift at 6200-6300rpms. Jason Reynolds can testify to this, his car would shift before 6000rpms. We both have Automatics.

I guess mine knows whos boss and knows where it will end up if it dont shift at the level. HAhahah

Dixit!!

Did you paint your ride BLUE????

Fill us in on all the details, costs quality etc. Or are you up to your tricks again and 'digitally altering' the photo.
