Complete outrage! Shows how badly Nintendo is struggling in the gaming industry when they have to destroy something beautiful to promote their lost cause. Nice job idiot!! How are you going to get home now???
In the realm of public relations, I do understand a Japanese company defouling another product made (IN JAPAN) by another Japanese company. Destroying a domestic turd such as the Ford Taurus on-screen could spark a huge anti-Trans Pacific partnership backlash, but WHY did you have to pick that car??? Why couldn't they have chosen the likeness of a 1st gen Lexus LS 400, that's been repeatedly beaten to shreds....a la Street Fighter II.
this millenial gamer doesn't even want to get his drivers license.
Millenial here. Can confirm that millennials are terrified of manual transmissions.
I'm only here for the part out though. Dibs on the grille!
CMTOG,
I can't blame millennials for killing the manual. All of my Gen X friends drive automatics too. Traffic is a pain in NYC and the mpg you get from the hybrid and cvt just can't be matched by a manual.
In all fairness, it's probably not Nintendo that we should be blaming... the idea was most likely created by the hired ad agency. Some other confused and angry millenial that works there, who hated his older brother's sweet ride because he was handed down the Mom's grocery bagging Corolla.

Thanks.
It's amazing how close they got the car though.
I haven't played a video game in many years and hadn't even heard of a Switch till now.
