02 high beam/fog bulb upgrade??

The 02 HID low beams are so good they make the high beams and fogs seem dim and yellow by comparison. Any upgrade bulb recomendations?

I am not looking for appearance as much as illumination.
Thanks,
Bruce

Me too...

I want to do the same, specially the fog lights. Crutchfield has some replacements but I'm not sure if there any difference between HIDs and Super White Xenon. Are they comparable in light intensity? Are HID same as Xenon bulbs?

Here are the links:

Did the high beams look white compared to the HIDs?

Any pics? I'd love to get rid of those ugly yellow highs. It's just doesn't seem right.

I guess I should have been more specific. I only replaced the fog lamps with the BVs. Here in AZ, I don't get a chance to use the high beams unless I take a road trip.

Well how do they look compared to the HID's? I'd really like to get rid of the fogs too.

My recommendation if you want improved illumination from the high beams: upgrade the stock wiring harness and get true high wattage bulbs.

The Bluevisions suck *****...don't get them. After ~4 months of normal usage, they'll look worse than stock. Other .Org members will tell you otherwise, but I'm sticking by my opinion that these bulbs, though cheap, are crap.

They are a nice upgrade over the factory H3s but not as powerful as the HIDs. If your looking for a Fog that will produce near equal to the HID these are not the light for you. I personally like the contrast and don't want fogs that will overwhelm the HIDs. I chose the BVs because of their reputation for being a quality, long lasting bulb.

On the C5 I bought Euro headlight bodies then upgraded bulbs and several dollars later I am not impressed.

I have piaa Xtremes in my fogs, they match very nicely. Look at my sig pic to see what I mean.

I personaly could care less how my high beams look, it's not like I drive around in public with them on. I have piaa platinum's in my highs. They work great and produce a real white light but look yellow.
