Crank no Start.

All was well until I tried to start it yesterday morning and it wouldn't start. It cranks really nice but refuses to start. I have codes for my gutted precats , evap codes and O2 heater circuit but car has always run fine with those codes. I did a headunit replacement a few day ago so I checked for blown fuses but everything looks good. I had a friend check the battery and starter voltages he said it looked good. I just replaced the camshaft Sensors but still no go. Am now convinced its the fuel pump, is there anyway to test it without a multimeter? Can the pump die with no warning signs? any suggestions?

Make sure the red security light is not ON when cranking (if it is, you have a security/NATS problem).
What kind of camshaft sensor did you use? Go with Hitachi only ....
Finally, fuel delivery (pump, or pressure regulator) could be at fault. The FSM (pages EC-54, EC-55) shows you how to check fuel pressure but you need a pressure gauge.

Unplug crank sensor. It fails more than cam (they usually cause shut off while driving but start fine). If the plugs are wet, then it won't be fuel. If you pull the plug you'll find there's no spark when cranking.

I can rule out NATS then, last place I want to go is the STEALERSHIP.

SOLVED. Turned out to be the fuel pump. Got a pump assembly from a scrapyard and the car fired up right away.

after 14+ years them would have to be some well built pumps with quality the likes of which will never be seen ever again.

I have a 2001 model here with 260k miles on it. I've seen multiple others with well over 200k. They just don't fail often.
