In the lastest motor trend, it claims that the 2003 Maxima will be selling this December. Can anyone confirm that?

 

Motor Trend is either on drugs or has some serious INSIDE info!
They also claim that the EVO VII will be here in December 2002, when Mitsubishi announced Spring 2003 as a 2004 model.
Ah! Mitsu said 250+ hp, MT claims 300+ hp!
I have no idea where they get all this info from.

The best way to establish their credibility, is to look at older editions and their claims for future (now present) models...

The March M/t issue says it will be released in winter 2003 as a 2004 model Dashing Max.

 

hmmm...Nissan says that they moving max production to the US for the new max (it is supposed to share the altima platform) and that is supposed to begin being built in Jan 03...so what does M/T know that we don't?

You would think that with a release date as early as Dec 03 there would be some definite pics and info on it. I think MT might be full of BS unless they show some spy pics of it soon.

 

Actually, December seems a little *late* to be introducing the 2003. I would think that it would show up in the August/September timeframe.

The 2004 will show up in spring of 2003, though.

 

You're right Jambo, most cars are intro'd mid-late summer. I think it will be a mystery until later this year or early 03.
