Can anyone take a picture and post of their 5th gen factory issue jack from the trunk? My '03 didn't come with one, and I'm headed to the boneyard this weekend to hunt for one that fits in the compartment where it should be. I don't want to get something generic from another make of car. Thanks you guys.

 

It's just a scissor jack. You should be able use one from just about any fwd Nissan. The one in my Rogue is identical to the one in the Maxima.

 

Well, I know I could use any old scissor jack to lift the car, but I want one that will fit and can be secured properly in the side trunk cubby where it should be stored.

 

My vehicle is a 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE … the jack works better when I cleaned and greased the threads and put a drop of oil on the thrust washer at the eyelet.
