6spd swap

Turning my auto into a 6spd. Thought you guys might want to see the progress. Fortunately I’m not the one doing it.

Left is auto , right is donor

Yo you gonna need a clutch bro.

Don't do this to me. I don't need to be spending money on my 01 to be getting a 2nd gen vq35 and 6sp lol

Most of the dash back together. The 6 Speed gearbox is in.

Gotta put the 6-speed tranny mount in and bleed the clutch. Should be done in another few days.

The transmission mount is done. Putting everything back together.

Need a passenger side axle. The one that came out of your car bearing case is messed up. The one that came from the donor car so rusted out it just fell apart.

A good passenger side axle is almost impossible to find these days. I think someone mentioned that you can use a beefier 6th gen axle but you need to swap out one part. You may need to search for that info.

Yeah it looks fine ,it just needs to be rebuilt.

When i took my passenger 6 speed axle out it came apart also. There's a place by me that rebuilds axles and starters things like that.
