My Maxima, as it sits, right now...

This place is too quiet. Post some candid pics, ya'll.

No pre-photo wash, no filters, no BS, just my max, as it appears right now, today, on my way to work, in all it's 17 year-old, dirty, dented, paint-faded glory:

It was originally silver. I bought it that way and I was partial to silver so platidipped it and looks much better to me.

She's tucked in the garage next to a bunch of BMW parts going on the car in the bay next to her Definitely needs a wash, but free time hasn't been abundant, lately. I don't need to do anything to this car right now; it's mechanically and cosmetically 100%. But I did buy an all new cooling system as preventative maintenance...just need to install it after I'm finished with the Bimmer.

It seems like a silver Maxima thread.

Glacier pearl is great! Looks clean when it’s dirty and REALLY clean when it’s clean 😍

Even when she's dirty Sylvia still looks clean. Glad to see so many of you taking care of your old babies.

Took this picture today on my lunch break. I washed her on Sunday and the weather this week in Toronto has been great. Glad to see other mint condition 5th gens still out there!

Nice, If my 02 6 speed Max came with factory wheels I would have kept them, I forgot how good the OEM 5.5 gen wheels looked. Mine came with early 3rd gen Altima V6 wheels and I didn't like the look at all. I had picked up a set of 350Z touring wheels a month after I got my Max ( December or 2012 ). the 350Z touring wheels are 18x8 so 245/40 tires fit great on them...

mods are:

5 piece plenum spacers
VIAS delete
75mm throttle body
custom intake using stock air box with custom snorkel + dry performance filter
VQ30 exhaust manifolds
warp speed y-pipe
2.5" exhaust no cats with turbo muffler to keep the noise down
2J racing underdrive pulley

Sentra SE-R Spec V H-LSD with stock Maxima gearing
JWT flywheel
M-Pact 350Z clutch disc and pressure plate
Nisformance clutch line kit
home made short throw mod

Nisformance tune/ECU flash

6th gen Maxima front brakes

Megan racing springs with Gabrielle ultra struts+ Addco rear sway bar along with all Energy Suspension bushings
