Defroster Shooting out black particles
Hi all. I drive an 03 Nissan Maxima SE. Been dealing with an issue the past few winters where the defroster shoots out little black particles - gets all over the dashboard. Trying to get this taken care of before it gets cold here in Dallas. Wondering if anyone has had this issue and what might be the fix for this.

replace cabin filter and suck out all the trash in there

Exactly, the cabin filter is more than likely well past it's useful life.
