Stalling issues after clutch replaced

Ok I recently bought a 2000 maxima and since I've had it I've gotten new clutch kit, throwout bearing, both cv axles, and installed aftermarket stereo.. so my issue started while driving on the highway and the car stalled out and btw its a manual transmission so it stalls, I pull over and the cars dead so I restart it and try to take off but it dies out again so once again pull over and wait a while and check out under the hood and nothing seemed irregular.. so I try once again and luckily the car stays on and I make it home without any other issues. A few days later I'm driving once again on the highway and it had jus started getting dark and my Gauge lights went dark but they still all work fine. Anyways little did I know that my taillights died out with my gauge lights and I cannot figure out this issue to save my life. Any information out there or any similar issues?

Could be that the surface between the motor and trans case was not cleaned before reassembly. This would create grounding issues which in turn could create funky electrical problems, which it sounds like is what you got going on. Since work was done on the trans and this problem popped up right after, thats my guess.

Before anything, check for codes. Also check the battery health, and check the health of the alternator, a shop or even autozone can do all of that for you.

I would tend to agree with you, but usually grounding issues result in starting issues, not stalling issues.

check the wiring harness grounds. from what I learned from my last car, ( CRX ) these are usually grounding points for ECU, injectors and possibly other sensors that don't ground out directly to the bare metal on the engine. I wouldn't be suprised if the plastic crank and cam sensor use these points as a ground..

the grounding points for the engine harness look like this....
