Wasup guys, i just bought a 2002 maxima. It doesn’t accelerate as it should when i mash the gas. It shifts fine, I’ve cleaned the MAF and throttle body but it still won’t take off as it should. All help is appreciated! Thanks

 

Have you checked the simple things like a fuel filter, clogged fuel lines, contaminated fuel, etc. ?

 

not yet. I was checking the easier things first before i got around to that. I guess that’s my next thing to check

 

+ Check for DTCs;

+ Replace the IAT sensor;

+ Adjust/re-adjust or replace the TPS;

+ Replace the KS.
