Franken on auto?

Would it be worth it to go Franken intake on my stock GLE? I would love some growl but don't want to hurt any lowend torque.

Do you have an intake now? If not go with the Franken! Are the available for shipping yet for the 2k-2k1?

Also will open up the sound for sure and your high end runs!

I've got dynos in the following thread that prove my 2k2 6spd didn't suffer at any rpm range when compared to the stock air box. I wouldn't worry about losing power. It's a worthwhile gain.

Look at the 6th post down from the top for the graphs

Hey Phat,

I wrote to Steve & Matt a little over 1 hour ago to ask if they where shipping. I'm waiting for a response.

I just receive my frankencar intake TODAY, but I probably have to wait until sunday to put it on!
BTW is for 2k2 not 2k-2k1

I was going to wait too but decided to go for it. The worst that can happen is that I will get about the same hp and tq as the JWT or Stillen!

Either way, I want to help a small company instead of a BIG FAT one.

hey, just a question, but why does everyone expect a loss in low end from an intake?? In the hondas, the latter applies - most gain low end torque. anyone know why nissans are subject to this loss of low end?? Thanks!

the site claims that its not taking any orders for 2000 and 2001 maximas right now. hope to see some dyno results pretty soon on a 2000 automatic max.
