I came across ACT throw out bearing part number RB809 and was wondering if anyone ever tried it? it seems to fit fine, I installed the transmission today with it. some manufacturers of throw out bearings list 85-06 Maxima as using the same throw out bearing and some don't. the bearing itself doesn't look like anything special, still has the plastic backing.

ACT site has it listed as fitting 1985-2001 Maxima/I30 as well as 1990-1994 JDM Pulsar GTI-R...

this time I cleaned the tube that the throw out bearing slides on really good so it has a real smooth surface for the plastic to slide on..
