Note it lists the part with the -1 suffix. I'm not sure the difference in the -2 suffix, but that, again, is listed as the correct part by K&N for the 2000-02 models (at least). Probably replaced the -1 part number.

Just put one in my '02. I have no idea whether it has impacted my performance.

That's the part number I got from Pep Boys as well (end with a 2).

Yes, it does replace the airbox. It's less restrictive intake system that you should definitely feel a difference with. It requires removing some/most of the stock intake parts.
